Registration

Transitioning to a new school can be difficult, the Lake Howell staff and current students provide a welcoming and inclusive environment. If there is anything our staff can do to assist in this transition, please feel free to call Student Services at 407-746-9082.

Steps For a Successful Registration

In order to properly register for the 2025-2026 school year, it is recommended that all students carefully follow these steps:

  1. Carefully read the curriculum guide to explore the various course offerings,  prerequisite requirements, and appropriate grade levels before choosing each course.
  2. Talk with your parents, teachers, and your school counselor to gather information about what is the most appropriate course of study for you.

** Please Note: Rising 9th and 10th grade students who score a level 1 or 2 on the FAST ELA test will be placed in an Intensive Reading course. Rising 11th and 12th graders who have not met their FSA ELA and/or Math EOC graduation testing requirement will be placed in a Test Prep Course for the 2025-2026 school year.

For the 2025-2026 school year, SCPS will provide full-time virtual instruction options to students in grades K-12.
